Our collection was started in 1959 by local resident Fred Anderson who set up the first Duck Lake Historical Museum in the North West Mounted Police jail.The Regional Interpretive Centre invites you to experience life from days gone by - from the every day struggles of the Pioneers, to the devastating impact that the near extinction of the buffalo had on the First Nations, and to the harsh aftermath of the North West Resistance for the Metis.We would like to announce the completion of the 20th Anniversary Cookbook 'Memories Made in the Kitchen'. The Society operates the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre.
